We welcome new members to this forum. Registration is easy and we encourage it for people who are not yet members. Members from the old TransitStuff site will need to re-register here.
Hostile posts will not be taken lightly. Anyone making a hostile post will receive a warning from a site administrator or moderator. We work on a two strike system. If you do not heed the warning we give you, your membership will be revoked and you will be banned from the site.
Profanity in general isn't as big a deal as hostile posts, but it should be kept to a minimum. Too much profanity use in a single post may cause deletion of the post, locking of the thread, or a warning by moderators. We want to keep a higher level of maturity here than on other sites.
The official language of this forum is English. Please make posts in proper English grammar. We want everyone to be able to understand posts, so this guideline is rather important.
Do not post photos that are not your own unless you have the permission of the photographer to post them. If you're posting a picture from a website like nycsubway.org, link to the photo. Posting someone else's photo without permission is plagiarism. Plagiarism is illegal and will not be taken lightly on this board. Please link to any articles you post, whether or not you post the entire article. Give credit where credit.
These rules and guidelines apply to all forums on this site. Additional rules may be implemented by the moderators of the various forums. Thank you for taking your time to read this. This forum has a lot to offer, so go ahead and explore!
